How to Redeem Codes in Survive the Killer

Survive the Killer! by Slyce Entertainment, game ID 4580204640, hands lobby rewards through an NPC named Cody. This page is the walkthrough. The strings themselves sit on the October code check.

Steps

1. Open Roblox and join the official experience. There is no browser port.
2. Stand in the lobby campsite. Cody is beside the Treasure Chest. Some older posts say "by the campfire" or "at spawn". Those phrases point at the same middle of the lobby.
3. On PC, press E when the prompt appears. On a phone, tap Cody.
4. Type the string and press Redeem.
5. The reward should land in your inventory. If the icon is missing, rejoin and look again before assuming the string failed.

The 2025 change that explains empty lobbies

On 1 Sep 2025 the interface changed. Fandom's Codes article is explicit: Cody is present only while something can still be redeemed. Searching the map for a hidden NPC is the wrong response when the current list is empty. That is also why "where is Cody" keeps showing up in search even in months with no new string.

Two older instructions I refuse to merge

• Case: the wiki says capitalization does not matter. Another codes guide says it often does. I tell people to paste, which satisfies both.
• A Codes button: MobileMatters mentions a button along the bottom of the lobby. Fandom, Dexerto, and HermitGamer describe Cody. I treat the button as a pre-September path.

Messages people report — invalid, expired, already redeemed, a friend received it and you did not — come from those same code articles. I am not calling that list an official error catalog. Toy packages skip Cody and use the Treasure Chest.
