Space Lab Map and the Cheese Puzzle

Space Lab is the sci-fi station map in Survive the Killer!, added 23 Aug 2020 in part two of the early story. Reaching it once meant filling a fuel tank in the lobby. It is now a voteable map, filed as large, with two exits. The station is the answer to "where does the cheese come from," which is a different question from "which map should I learn first."

Cheese, rat, and the one soft number

Searches for the cheese refer to a community-described lobby rat errand. The public map and mechanics articles checked here do not document a current handoff key or a current XP payout, so those fields remain blank. The station also once had power cells and numbered locks, which the map article explicitly describes as removed features; do not confuse those historical puzzles with current objectives.

Nineteen traps and green fog

The trap article counts 19 mouse traps. They are not decoration. Springing one can show where you are. Green fog is the other environmental tell. The map originally forced Professor Ratthew Cheeseworth, but the same article explicitly says that restriction was later removed. Current route advice should not assume that historical restriction. I am not drawing a coordinate guide; the wiki screenshots are behind a wall I could not mirror, and a guessed floor plan would be worse than prose. Other stations and suburbs are on the map table. The suburban map people confuse with a treehouse is Happy Neighborhood. Game ID 4580204640, Slyce Entertainment.

FAQ

How do I drop the cheese?

Public searches describe a lobby rat errand, but the checked map and mechanics pages do not establish a current drop key. No keybind or XP payout is supplied here.

What do the traps do?

Nineteen mouse traps. Tripping one can reveal you or raise an alarm. Green fog is the other listed hazard. The map originally forced Professor Ratthew Cheeseworth; the wiki says this was later changed to allow any killer.
